Lots of tricky mechanics done with aplomb. Looking at it, I think it would help to re-organize a few things to make it simpler. I think we need to dial the focus more on the problem of the signs staying up and less on the problem of the kids getting lost. Also, the dialogue feels a little dry (I know it's a first draft), on the next pass aim to make it more genuine, add humor and spark and character. Notes below, thanks!</Text>

- Explain what the Nature Walk IS. The audience has no idea, and if they are not on board, the rest of the episode won't make sense. Have Olive show a diagram of it on her notebook, to give us an overview. Use a thought bubble to show what it will be like for animals on it.

- Show that the kids are invested (especialy Elinor) in getting their friends to see their favorite Nature. This tells us what our main characters want in the episode and what the stakes are.

- Then set up the problem: How will our friends know where to go?

- Have Ari be the one who made the signs. I think this will help make the episode problem and solution more personal and with more stakes. Make them kid-quality. Have Ari describe the signs and then he puts up the first one (remove the beat where he forgets to put the sign). Ari is the sign guy in this episode.

- Then have the kids go off to walk the trail one more time and to put up the signs.

- Try to add at least 2 funny moments to this set up scene (avoid puns if you can :) )"</Text>

I think it gets a little too complicated right now because the kids are trying to solve two mysteries: ""Where is everybody?"" And ""What happened to the signs?"" Then it's further complicated because the answer to the second question involves a tricky puzzle (the kids put the signs the wrong way). Instead, let's try this simpler approach: After 71 (and the new line for Ari), have all the lost kids emerge from the forest back at the playground. There you are! What happened? Did you see all the Nature sights? The lost kids respond, ""no, we got lost!"" Our trio is confused, ""Didn't you follow the signs?"" ""we only saw one sign, and it pointed us the wrong way."" ""Yeah, us too!""

Our trio is confused: ""I wonder what happened to our signs?"" ""We need more observations!"" and they go off to investigate on their own. I think this makes it simpler, because now our kids just have to figure out that the signs fell over, for which our episode solution is the direct solution.
